Case study · Sport & public communications
Establishing the official
voice of a national coach.
Digital communications and press relations for Thierry Mouyouma, head coach of Gabon's national team: an official channel, an editorial line and press conference coverage.
The challenge
Taking back a voice
that others
were carrying.
As a national team coach, Thierry Mouyouma is commented on constantly. But several accounts carried his name without being run by him, and his words circulated second-hand, distorted along the way.
The brief: create the official channel, establish it as the reference source, and hold a publishing rhythm aligned with the national squad, in both French and English.
What we did
Official channel
Launching and positioning the official page, with an opening statement that explicitly disowns accounts not run by his team.
Publishing identity
One template applied across all communications: a banner bearing the coach's name, national colours, consistent image treatment. Every visual is recognisable before you read the sign-off.
Editorial calendar
Match announcements, match-eve posts, results, training sessions: a rhythm matched to the national squad and to the key moments of the AFCON.
Press relations
Writing and laying out press releases, plus photo coverage of the national coach's 2025 season review press conference.
Live and interaction
An unfiltered live Q&A session, to build a direct link with the public.
Bilingual
Communications held in both French and English, to reach the diaspora and the international sports press.
The results
Official page statistics, 7 September to 5 December 2025. Growth measured against the preceding 90 days.
