The challenge

Choosing a university
from a phone,
a thousand miles away.

A prospective student weighing up several institutions cannot visit them all. Many choose on the strength of a brochure, or on nothing at all.

Our brief: produce two immersive experiences that show the places and the courses, accessible from anywhere, by click or in a headset.

What we did

01

Scouting and capture

Scouting the spaces to show, then panoramic shooting on site, room by room.

02

Panorama stitching

Matching, horizon correction and light balancing across the shots.

03

The 3D fair space

Design of a navigable 3D environment, with its stands and circulation areas.

04

Navigation path

Sequencing of viewpoints and transitions, so the tour follows without losing anyone.

05

Points of interest

Information, content and markers placed in the scene, right where the question arises.

06

Going live

Embedding both tours into Akwaba Virtuel's existing site, without touching anything else, and testing on mobile and desktop.

The two tours

The Institut Universitaire d'Abidjan, captured in panorama
01

IUA University, Abidjan

360° tour

The Institut Universitaire d'Abidjan, explored in panoramic view: prospective students move through the campus room by room, by click or drag, as if they were there.

The Côte d'Ivoire Metaverse Careers Fair
02

Metaverse Careers Fair

3D tour

Côte d'Ivoire's first 3D careers fair: a permanent space where universities and colleges hold a stand, and where students can research courses all year round.
