Case study · Immersive & innovation
Touring a place
without being there.
Conception, design and development of Akwaba Virtuel, a 360° and 3D virtual tour platform for real estate, education, culture and events.
The challenge
Making 3D
usable by people
who don't do 3D.
Virtual tours are still seen as a specialist matter: expensive gear, complex software, long lead times. Many estate agencies, schools and institutions give up before even trying.
We had to build a platform where creating, customising and sharing an immersive tour takes no technical skill, and a brand clear enough to remove the barrier to entry.
What we did
Brand and positioning
Name, logo, palette and tone: a welcoming identity, the opposite of the sector's technical jargon.
Platform design
Sign-up flow, dashboard, tour editor and sharing pages, designed for a non-technical user.
Development
A 360° and 3D viewer, account management, pricing plans and a demo area, all custom-built.
Immersive production
On-site capture, panorama stitching, points of interest and audio narration for the guided tours.
Multilingual
French, English and Spanish from launch, to address Africa and international markets at once.
Acquisition
Solution pages by sector, a readable pricing grid and public demos to convince before sign-up.
