IUA University, Abidjan
360° tour
The Institut Universitaire d'Abidjan, explored in panoramic view: prospective students move through the campus room by room, by click or drag, as if they were there.
Case study · Immersive & education
Production of two immersive tours in Ivorian higher education: a university in 360° and a careers fair in 3D, embedded into Akwaba Virtuel's existing site.
The challenge
A prospective student weighing up several institutions cannot visit them all. Many choose on the strength of a brochure, or on nothing at all.
Our brief: produce two immersive experiences that show the places and the courses, accessible from anywhere, by click or in a headset.
What we did
Scouting the spaces to show, then panoramic shooting on site, room by room.
Matching, horizon correction and light balancing across the shots.
Design of a navigable 3D environment, with its stands and circulation areas.
Sequencing of viewpoints and transitions, so the tour follows without losing anyone.
Information, content and markers placed in the scene, right where the question arises.
Embedding both tours into Akwaba Virtuel's existing site, without touching anything else, and testing on mobile and desktop.
The two tours
360° tour
The Institut Universitaire d'Abidjan, explored in panoramic view: prospective students move through the campus room by room, by click or drag, as if they were there.
3D tour
Côte d'Ivoire's first 3D careers fair: a permanent space where universities and colleges hold a stand, and where students can research courses all year round.
The results
Both tours are public and can be tried from the “Test our tours” section of akwabavirtuel.com. The site is published by a third party: our work covers producing the tours and embedding them.
